Model Inga Radziejeweski was turned down a modeling assignment for Christian Dior because the clothes were “too short” to fit in. For the record she is 5’11 tall and weighs shocking 98 pounds. She is definitely an anorexic but still designers turned down her because she was considered “too fat”.

Despite a skeletal measurement of 27 inches chest, 21 inches waist and 27.5 inches hips, she was considered by fat for designers like Christian Dior. She is crestfallen, not just because of her nightmarish health but shattering ambition of walking on the ramp of Europe’s most famed fashion shows.

“At the time I never thought anything was wrong with me, but now I can see that I was dangerously underweight. When I look back I’m horrified by the lifestyle I was living,” she added.

She fought hard with her disease and gained considerable amount of weight to reach size 12. Now, she is doing well in modeling and finding work in magazine and other media and occasionally does runaway job, particularly in Asia.

Stories are similar for most of the industry’s runway models. There are stories where girls throwing up food just a few days before shows. Some girls also take epilepsy medication to concentrate because they are so delirious from hunger.

There are number of incidents over anorexia celebrity models, even the celebrated model Flippa Hamilton was allegedly fired by fashion house Ralph Lauren for being too chubby. She is 5’10” and weighs 120 pounds.
